So Much To Say: Books

1. Thinking, Fast and Slow. By Daniel Kahneman.

â€‹This book is a good and educational read. However, it is a very scientific approach and in depth description of the psychology of our two modes of thinking, fast and slow. It is touched over briefly at a university level of psychology. The read is good for people interested in Psychology, and the shaping of cognition. It keeps its reader engaged, however, it is a moderate difficulty read, and quite long. One of the best books on my list (considering I am a psychology nerd!).

2. Breakfast at Tiffany's. By Truman Capote.

A short read, would highly recommend it. The character and scene descriptions are detailed, and both characters are relatable - well to me anyway. I still remember reading it, and imaging it. It's beautiful and well written, as well as short - score! If you're short on time, and would love a good classic, try this book.

3. To Kill a Mockingbird. By Harper Lee.

I loved reading this book, it inspired me to read more fictional classics. The way it's written, the story line, the engaging and interesting situations, and complication is all so easy to understand. The ending is fabulous too, a bit of mystery couldn't hurt. Highly recommend.

4. Pride & Prejudice. By Jane Austin.

An absolute classic, a good story and good character descriptions. It's such a lovely thing to think about the old Victorian era, and how appropriate it is to today's society. One of my favourite Jane Austen's, and although it may sound boring, it will sure teach you a thing or two. You will be talking old English after this read.

 5. They're going to love you. By Meg Howel.

It's a beautiful setting, an nice and and easy read - about a ballerina, and her family. A nice setting, however, it did take me a while to read. It's not interesting from the "get-go", however, when you put together the story line and the scene descriptions, it's an alright book.

6. Animal Farm By George Orwell.

A high school book therefore an easy read, short and interesting. The animal descriptions, the ending, and the scenes the author creates are beautiful and inspiring. A really good book, for some detailed reading, I recommend.

7. 1984 By George Orwell.

The theme of this book is so well written and constructed. A real good fiction novel, where the narrator is truly well portrayed. One of the greats, and for a good reason. You won't get bored reading this book, and not a difficult read either. High recommend.

8. The Happiness Project By Gretchen Rubin.

A good novel, not just for its insightful and practical self-help tips, however, also a good story. The author does not dwell into too many issues, or demanding things for us to be happy, however, shares her tips and discovery of happiness activities. I must say, I still do those things, they are easy and effective.

9. The Artist's Way By Julia Cameron.

10. Where Have I Been All My Life By Lisa Benson

11. Go Set A Watchman By Harper Lee.

12. Untamed: Stop pleasing, start living. By Glennon Doyle.

13. The Other Side of You by Salley Vickers.

14. Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway by Susan Jeffers.

15. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson.

16. The Daily Stoic: 365 Meditations on Wisdom, Perseverance and the Art of Living by Ryan Holiday.

17. Ego Is the Enemy by Ryan Holiday.

18. How to be the Love you Seek by Dr Nicole LePera.

19. Sense & Sensibility by Jane Austen

A decent book, I mean literally, it is formal and a useful text to grow your vocabulary, and reading skills. It is a tough read, so it took me longer to get through. I found Pride & Prejudice to be a more interesting and relevant theme, and overall book.

I feel full of wisdom now, and the after math of reading a Jane Austen, takes you back to old English, and inspires a new look on society and reading, and even writing. This book has influenced my manners, for the positive! Embracing the words, title, and story has been a joy.

It is a long and difficult book, so be prepared. Some parts I may not have even enjoyed it.

BOOK OF THE MONTH: Fourth wing, what a read! Couldn't put it down, it's inviting, smooth to read, and engaging. Totally fictional! That's the best part! All about Dragons, and a different world, however, lots of normal human emotions, and good intimate scenes! It's a guessing game of what will happen, and a total shock at the end!

A long book, but worth the read because it encompasses your entire imagination - very descriptive, and great characters!
