Five things that made me happy this week!

  1. A lovely swim in the pool, on a very hot Australian day

It was so hot outside, after running some errands, a swim is the first thing I needed. It was outdoors too, so there was plenty of nature. The water was refreshing, and I managed to swim ten laps of freestyle. It cooled me down, and I had a relaxing afternoon.

2. Writing Morning Pages (& reading Artist’s Way)

I had some good things on my mind, and I enjoyed writing so much, I ended up writing 2,000 words (Including this article). Reading was the fun part, it had a lovely flow to it, and good advice. So I started networking and writing after my read. I wrote about what I’ve been doing, that I enjoy.

3. Ten minute workouts for two days in a row

This was fun, to be back into training. The ten minutes consisted of, four minute plank, stretching, calf raises, lunges with 2.5kg weights in each hand, ten push ups, and a cool down stretch. My body thanked me after, and felt less tense and stiff. So of course, I highly recommend a ten minute workout of your favourite exercises.

4. Going shopping

This week, I enjoyed browsing the brands I usually love. There was so much out there, and it is usually good to browse recent trends and see what is out there. I like the Australian brands. A “bassike” long black casual dress, and a “Aje” pink jumper, are the two hot items on my shopping list.

5. Writing and updating my blog

I usually enjoy this, so it comes as no surprise. This week, however, I feel good about my articles and where my blog is at. I even bought a non-alcoholic wine to celebrate. So Here’s to Business, Cheers!

BOOK OF THE MONTH: Fourth wing, what a read! Couldn't put it down, it's inviting, smooth to read, and engaging. Totally fictional! That's the best part! All about Dragons, and a different world, however, lots of normal human emotions, and good intimate scenes! It's a guessing game of what will happen, and a total shock at the end!

A long book, but worth the read because it encompasses your entire imagination - very descriptive, and great characters!
