Self Care. Self Love. More activities To Include Into Your Routine.

Today I had a Microdermabrasion facial, and a Laser Hair Removal session. Ah the simple things, and the realisation that I am worth it! It went really well, and I feel better about myself already. From journalling, to eating vegan and exercising, which are daily activities that feed you and keep you fit, having a facial is a little bit different! We often forget, or don't have time, and therefore deplete our self love and self care. The afterglow is amazing!

I also enjoy having a haircut, every 8 weeks, or whenever possible. It refreshes your hair, and I usually get a trim, which includes a wash and blow dry. I don't find going to the hair salon only about colour, foils, and changing your hair style. Why not just a trim?! I go to a local Hair Salon, "Tara", for the works, and we have a lovely chat and she is the helpful and good at doing my hair! So my advice would be to find a hair salon you like (price is a factor these days!). A lot of hair salons charge over $100 for a trim, wash and blow dry.


I use to find massages unsatisfying until now! I had a whole body massage at Endota Spa Byron Bay, and sometimes a foot massage at the local Chinese massage place. Endota was amazing, I felt in my mind, body and spirit. It wasn't so much about "at the moment", the feeling of the massage, but the feeling for days after the massage of relaxation, and the ability to process my thoughts and feelings, and figure out how I've been feeling and think clearly during and after the massage. Of course I recommend it, It is therapeutic.

In addition, I take multi-vitamins, have a shower regularly (when i don't shower I feel like crap!), drink Chinese herbal healing drink that a Chinese herbalist recommended and mixed together especially for me! O, and don't forget to stay hydrated.


I like to read, blog, socialise, have one glass of wine, and post on Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook and Pinterest (and study)! I feel great after all this, confident, and radiant!

It is the little things that keep us going sometimes, such as the coffee in the morning, the sunset, the cocktail (or mocktail), the message, an affirmation you type, a shower and straightening your hair putting your moisturiser on, preparing for the day and feeling good!

The power of these activities is enormous on your self-confidence!


I have a great gratitude app, it's called, "Gratitude" and it sends me reminders with questions to cheer me up and be thankful about something specific! It is a positive psychology technique after all, that makes you instantly mindful, and pleasant.


Don't forget, buying flowers, having a bath, writing notes, spending time in nature, and putting your favourite/a pretty outfit on! Because you are pretty, inside and out!

BOOK OF THE MONTH: Fourth wing, what a read! Couldn't put it down, it's inviting, smooth to read, and engaging. Totally fictional! That's the best part! All about Dragons, and a different world, however, lots of normal human emotions, and good intimate scenes! It's a guessing game of what will happen, and a total shock at the end!

A long book, but worth the read because it encompasses your entire imagination - very descriptive, and great characters!
