Now I know what you’re thinking, “a vision board, how cliche, I do them all the time, and I’m not that interested.” However, I have a new and improved method.
I am use to buying magazines and cutting pieces out, such as words, and fashion, from our usual Australian Marie Claire, or Vogue, or In Style. Although, moving away from the typical (only) fashion magazine was the best idea yet. I moved away from the magazines because my vision boards always ended up the same, and never really expanded my mind set.
So here’s what I moved into. I now, choose luxurious pictures from Pinterest, (everyone knows there are so many pictures on Pinterest of the ideal life), and saved them onto my laptop - Step One. Step two, buy a luxury houses magazine, and cut out and paste the luxury rooms that inspire you. I had a huge house, a beautiful big bedroom picture, and more. Straight away my vision had improved.
Finally, go online and find photos of your ideals, and then I went to Office Works to get the pictures printed into hard copy photographs, I had three medium pinboards of photos and one large pin board. I had so many photos and a grand vision.
The typical topics I had printed photographs consisted of:
Houses
Persona
Fashion
Travel
Desk space
